dvd shrink very slow

    hi everyone lm new here nice to meet ya'll got kind of a prob until yesterday l was using dvd skrink quite successfuly l may add with a transfer rate in the 5-7 thousand kbps range during the encoding stage but today yeah well um its 2 kbps!! my wife swears that she made no changes too our PC but that l doubt so far l have tried a defrag, reinstalling dvd shrink and a system restore and all results were the same please help lm buggered

    Have you done a check to see if there is any spyware been added to your system? or that something is running that previously wasnt when you were getting the best transfer rates?

    ran a spyware check nothing and the other option l dont think so nothisng that would suck up that much ram at any rate before l could play half life 2 online and encode a dvd now l shut steam off and still VERY SLOW transfer rate

    ok all is well with the world l figured it out l disabled the burn with nero option in the preferences menu and boom fast again now my question is how do l manually burn a dvd????

    update l reinstalled nero and all is good with the world again ty for your help
