    Hi,
On the standart DVD medias it's written that their capacity is 120 minutes/ 4.7 GB. Suppose I have a DVD larger then 4.7 GB with the length of more the 120 minutes (let's say 140 minutes). Am I right that using a "shrinking" program, could not solve the problem, since such program is capable to reduce the size of said DVD only, but not it's length ?
And - speaking about shrinking programs - can somebody evaluate
DVD Shrink 2008 or suggest a better "shrinking" program ?

Shrinking it will be able to fit on a single layer disc.
Don't be fooled by Shrink 2008. The program hasn't been updated in a long time and will never be updated. They want you to pay for something that is free. If you want to look at another program, may I suggest DVD Rebuilder.
