never had this problem before but recently when i convert vhs to dvd everything looks fine to the end then it skips and freezes. using TMPGEnc to convert avi files. could it be when i change the compression
If it only does this at the end then it's probably a media problem. Some lower quality medias don't have an even dye layor at the very outside of the disc and will cause this problem. If you were making a dvd backup you could get around this by useing dvd shrink and setting the target size to 4300 MB.
