DVD to DivX Updates Guides?

    Hi.

    I'm using the current guides in the guides section for DVD to DivX 4:3 and 16:9. These guides are very old and I have newer software. I'm having problems /w certain movies.

    Does anyone have an updated guide that uses the same software? If not, do u have a new guide with different software the produces high quality DivX or even Xvid?

    rip.
    dvd2avi/dgindex frameserve.
    demux
    avisynth (check out the guide, avisynth for the scripting impaired)
    encode with xvid.
