New to Mac. Great machine but wasted on me with my limited knowledge...thus the name. To the point. I am trying to put my home movies from DVD into some format to use in Final Cut Express. I've used Mac the Ripper, Streamclip, upgraded to Quick Time Pro and done all kinds of other stuff I've read in forums and nothing has worked. Anyone know a SIMPLE way for me to accomplish this?

You could use DvdXDv to extract to quicktime. OSEX may be able to also.

Thanks. Sorry about the double post. I am in serious panic mode! Supposed to have a video done by Sunday, can't get the stuff off the DVD. I'll give these suggestions a try. Thank you again
