I read the closed post above that shows how to convert dvd to vcd with permanent subtitles. Howvere, I am stuck at a step that says

"open TMPGEnc and load the WAV you created with AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI and load the last pseudo-AVI you just created with VirtualDub and follow our original VCD guide for the encoding settings and start encoding"

My problem is in TMPGEnc when I selected the second-pseudo .avi file just created in VirtualDub (with the frameserver running), TMPGEnc shows an error of "cannot open the file or unsupported". What did I do wrong? can someone helps? Thanks.

I have also found out that while in VirtualDub (right before start frameserverving), there is no subtitles on the clips. What could be the problem? Please help.
