    Hi Everyone,
I'm getting a burner today that uses both DVD- and DVD+ media. Are there any reasons to buy one over the other. Price, quality, life, ease of use, availability, performance, etc. I see that Verbatim and Ritek seem to be very popular in this site.
Thanks for the info in advance.
    Don

Well the -r's are cheaper, and more compatible with your dvd standalones. The quality is pretty much the same. (imho)Check out your player compatibility with this chart:http://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers
    good luck

There is no longer any advantage one over the other, baring in mind the compatibility of the machine you will be using for playback.
