hi is this a good writer for backing up my dvd roms:NEC DVD+R+RW 2.4DVD £175
Never heard about it but if you have a v5,v6 or v7 ps2 then it should work if you burn to a DVD+R. Most writers are good if you use good software like the latest nero version or Alcohol 120%
could you tell me how to find out what verison it is.so this will be an ok writer
Read these http://www.modchipshop.com/ps2/v5v6v7.htm
is this ne gud:Ricoh mp5125a for £170
what am i looking for to copy my dvd roms?
I never heard of that actually!! all you need to copy a dvd rom game is a dvd burner and reliable software like Nero or Alcohol 120%!
does it need to be dvd+r or can it just be dvd-r
dvd-r is a better choice actually because some ps2's have issues with dvd+r
by any chance do you know what is better out of the dms3 and messiah 2
I wouldn't know but i'm sure someone else from the forum will reply about it soon!
That would be me ??! Dela...
DMS 3 is very new and I don't know a lot about this chip.. Messiah 2 (I have messiah 1) is a good modchip and from what I know it's working fine booting DVD, movies, EA and so on. One option is to disable the messiah 2 once it's in your PS2.
hi wizkid do u know if any of the dvd writers iv mentioned are ne gud
Don't know !
Why not buying one like Pioneer or HP or Sony.
These will probably cost some more but the money is well spent.
is there certain system requirements needed for a dvd writer
Well obviosly a lot of hd space for images! the rest would depend on the dvd burner so just check the requirements of it!
