i am trying to write a dvd and everytime i try to write the dvd it says writing failed i have tried using slowest speed but still no succes i tryed nero and tmpgenc but neither work any idea why and how to fix it? TIA
Nero asks you if you want to save a log file at the end of each burn. This contains information about the PC, burner, media, burn settings, etc. Save it and then copy/paste it into a reply. Remove your Nero S/N before posting. Look at the top of the log for a number that starts with 1a23 or 1a25 or similar.
it says it is an error with the sdk (Software Developers kit) Does Any1 have this problem or no how to fix it
Do you also have InCD installed with your Nero? Or do you have Roxio easy CD creator installed? If you have either of those installed get rid of them and try again. Make sure you go to Nero and download the InCD clean tool..

It looks like your file is bigger than what the disk eill hold? Is your USB DVD RW hooked up to a USB 2.0 port? You can check in device manager it should say "enhanced" under Universal Serial Bus controllers. That Ritek G05 media has also caused problems lately for people. Are you trying to back up an original DVD or are these downloaded files or what?
Gee whiz and another Nero SN!... I collect em so thank you! Yours is the one that starts with 1a20.... To edit your post look for the pencil and paper icon at the top right of any reply you have made. click on it and you can edit your post.
i am trying to copy a d/l file i have converted it to dvd format (vobs etc) And It Wont let me burn it just says error all the time ? ehat diffrence will it make which usb it is in?
Because external DVD writers are USB 2.0 it will make a big difference. Did you use DVD Shrink to get your files to the proper size for burnning on to the DVD?
