Going to buy a new top of the line Sony with
1.5g of memory, ati 9800 video card, etc, etc. This pc will mainly be used to write
dvd's and backup all my home dvd's. My question is. Should the 2nd drive be a cd-rw
drive or a dvd drive. Another question. With DVD X Copy can you copy disk from disk or do you write to the HD first then copy??
Any advice will be appreciated. And whats your opinion on the Sony PC???

Personally not a fan of Sony computers. But sounds good. The second drive I would not make a CDrw, they will go extinct soon (within 5years). So but anything there but a CDRW, with what you will be paying look at BlueRay.
DVDxCopy will copy to the Hard drive then will give you the option to burn. So have a fast hard drive and a fast DVD rom and but your disk in the DVD-/+Rw and it will be very fast.
