I just bought the DVD X copy Platinum that has the "ripper" included. I bought it from AcidPark.com. I spoke with a person there. They told me that they have been having trouble getting it to activate...Acid Park thought that they had found a way around it...I guess that I'll see when I get it. Do a lot of people have problems with this product? PLEASE RESPOND...ANYBODY...! THANKS
If you check the DVD X Copy forum they may have a way to help you activate it. All X copy questions should be posted there anyway. Here is the link. http://dvdxcopy.afterdawn.com/ Jerry
I bought DVDxcopy platinum a couple of months ago and it was like burning dollar bills. I still haven't been able to get it activated. I highly recommend that you consider the freeware dvd decrypter and dvd shrink. I downloaded them last Saturday and spent a few hours looking at tutorials. Since then I've been able to backup about 30 DVDs and now I'm hooked big time. Good luck with the dvdxcopy forum. When I was trying to get my dvdx copy to work I didn't even know the forum existed. But now I'm enjoying what I'm doing way too much to go back.
Try this link for activations. Not sure how much help it will be but it won't hurt to try. http://www.dvdxcopy-international.com/cgi-bin/ttx.cgi?cmd=newticket Jerry Also any other questions go to the X copy forum as stated before.
I have had DVD X Copy (80 dollars US) for a couple of years now (version 3.2.1.0). I know a lot of people have had problems with it, but I was always able to get it to work. But when the company went down, I downloaded a cracked version to avoid the activation problems. I know 321 Studios set my activation number to 74 or something like that, when they closed. I haven't tried using it for a long time though. There are a list of programs (blacklisted programs) you don't want to have running when you are using X Copy. Follow the link that Jerry746 posted, and you should do fine. I'm not running down DVD X Copy, because I have always liked/used it, but since I started using DVD Shrink, I haven't used X Copy. DVD Shrink really does work well, and it is easy to use. Being free doesn't hurt the cause either. Good Luck...
