I recently used the burn guide (an awesome tool)provided to me by rbrock.

it works great - however when i burned my first couple of DVD's the DVDFab Decrypter was finished scanning a DVD in less than 20 minutes sometimes - now it takes upwards of an hour or more for each new DVD i apply it to.

    what has "possibly" changed?

Your DVD Drive could have fallen in PIO mode. It needs to be in DMA mode. So Follow the guide below and check and make sure the drive is in DMA mode. If it is in PIO mode follow the guide to put the drive back into DMA mode.
