Sorry I dont have much time. First edit your Nero serial number from your post. Next your DMA is off. Use device manager, select IDE channel, right click on properties, select advanced tab. Transfer mode should be DMA if avialable. If that does not do the trick, unistall the DVD drive and reboot. When you reboot stop at the setup (F10/F12) meun and check your bios to see if DMA is on. It should in the IDE part of the menu.
I am really new at all this ripping and burning. I finally figured out how to use your decrypter and shrink and love them. Won't use anything else. Nero is nothing but a royal pain. I had nothing but trouble when I tried to use it. Thank you for the programs. They are the best! Lois
Hello Jim can you tell me (us) what you are trying to shrink in words..and what type of PC you are using and have you ever made a good burn.?
rroettger, Ihave tried all that you suggested but everything is the way it should be. JoshB, I have an AMD64 3400+. I have burn successful for quite some time now. I got a new DVD player and I was using Ritek G04 but the new player isn't playing them. Every Ritek burned with out an error. I got Beall discs and I have tried three burns all different movie backups from images ripped with DVDdecryptor. The wierd thing is all three said that the did not burn to finish, but they all seem to be in perfect playing condition.
http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm Beall is ranked as thrid class. Players are choosy about media.
Try a burn with DVD Decrypter. Recommend some RW disc till you get a handle on it. When I have a party I have plenty of coasters for everyone.
