I am puzzled. I have backed up many movies with various media. I though I'd try cheap dynex dvd+4x with my ricoh 4x burner just for the heck of it (the package says compatible). The backup will only play in my very cheap INCA dvd player. I have another in which it is not recognized as well as my ps2. But to top it off - my own computer that I used to make it won't even read it.
I use clone dvd to burn and various other media (memorex and fuji) that work fine. I know I won't buy dynex again, but I don't understand why I can't even play it in my computer. (AMD anthlon XP2000)

Your problem is a common one with low quality media since they dye being used is of such poor quality that compatibility suffers greatly. I'd recommend sticking with what's worked for you in the past and use the remaining Dynex for data :)

HeHeHeHe... Yeah, use them for non-importand data.. since you can't even read them back with your computer... Throw them out of the house.
