I have a E-Machine W3052 that I bought March 2005 and was was wondering what type of motherboard comes in it. I'm pretty sure it's a ATX but i'm not sure what type. I've decided to get a new case for it and wanted to know would my motherboard fit this new case. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16811208008. Also I've got a second monitor and decide to get a new graphic card that could hold both monitors with plenty of performance speed. I was thinking about getting this card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150125. If anyone has any advice on the top, I would appreciate your information.
what slots are on the motherboard as that videocard is a pci/e which is totally different that pci. i think you have only pci slots as a customer of mine i think has the same computer as you have. he had to get a pci 9250 videocard as he did not have an agp slot. motherboard will fit case but might want to rethink this out if only have pci slots. http://www.emachines.com/support/product_support.html?cat=Desktops&subcat=W-Series&model=W3052
I have a AGP slot and three regular PCI slots. I was just double checkin to be sure that the card would work with my pc. If one else has clue as to what type of ATX motherboard I have. Future up grades will be to go from 512mbs RAM to 2Gbs and perhaps an addition of a Raid card with SATA technology (2x500GB). I currently have two IDE Western Digital hard drives (120GB&320GB)
so will need an agp card than not that pci/e you linked. what is printed on the motherboard between the pci slots & agp slot as motherboard manufacturer & board model #?
