easy way to get mpeg-2 home movies on payable dvd

hi im trying to help a friend she has a dvd camcorder and it came bad software. We can import the files to make mpeg-2 format files.
so what would be free or easy to take the clips and burn them on to a dvd to play in dvd players i have nero and external dvd burner.
the software she has goes with the panasonic dvdcam something like movie album and fun studio. At this point she would like to edit
but i just want to get them on a disc for her and call it a day.

Use Nero

could you tell us which Nero you have then we can provide more help

 

Specifically NeroVision Express, if ver. 6, just NeroVision if ver. 7.

 

i do not have nero 7 it is 6.6
