I get 1000s of raw ethernet cable for free. I have learned how to cut it and put ends on it to make it work. The problem is that it takes forever to do it by hand. I can using a wire cutter to strip it and a crimper to crimp it. Is there a faster way to do it or a machine that can do it for me?

unless you have lots of money as in maybe a few thousand dollars keep on doing it the way you are doing it. what is the wire cutter for as i use an xacto knife to cut off outer insulation before crimping?

Yeah a wire cutter is a bad choice. There are scissors made for cutting ethernet cable but I personally just use a exacto knife and/or scissors. Most important is a even cut.

I'll try with a knife instead of wire cutters. They don't work too good. Thanks for the help.
