   How can I edit wmv files, like cut and paste? Is there freeware like VirtualDub? I have multiple wmv files and want to combine them into 1 file.

   You should be able to do that in Windows Movie Maker.
   Those are Windows Media Supported files.
   you can just add each video to your project and cut and paste wherever.
