Editing a dvd - what program?

    good day to you all,
    i would like to know whats the best program to edit a dvdr.
    i have two copies of a dvd one with menu but poor film the other with good film but no menu.
    You can see what i want to do, put them both together to make a good'un.
    what the best program to use and do you have any tips for me :)

    I think this is a classic dvdshrink vs dvd121. If you use dvd shrink youre final dics retains menu structure however, full disc needs to be compressed and there will be a loss of quality when viewing main movie. If you use 121 and strip out the menus you'll get better quality on your movie. If you want to put a menu on your good disc you'd have to re-author it, personally I'd go with the disc with no menu but better quality.

    Forget to add. Prog you could use to reauthor dvd, TMPGEnc DVD Author.
