eject reset problem please help

    hi i have a v4 ps2 and i broke the eject reset cable. i got a new one intsalled it perfectly and now the eject button does not light up or function and the ps2 will not boot up all i get is a black screen that flashes green if you press reset!

    can i please get some advice into what has gone wrong?

    I had the same issue, I mean exactly the same issue when I tried to install the chip my-self. I sold my broken PS2 and then reinstalled it into a v4 no gap and it worked fine. If you search the forums they will tell you it could be a bios chip burned out, a burned fuse, or a bad connection on one of the wires. Sorry I can't tell you how to fix it. I would check your connections..
