embedding audio files in a dvd-r

    so i have a small documentary on india i am doing for a client and he wants to not only watch the dvd but also put it in a cd player and play selected audio tracks which i will have to embed.
    need some help. best way to go about it,programs,file types etc

    No can do.
    DVD and CD both have completely different foca lengths on the laser, and you cannot make a DVD-Video like a CD Extra.
    Your client is trying to mix together on the same disc 2 different formats.
    Also, DVD uses a samplerate of 48KHz for PCM audio, and CD uses 44.1
