emule problem

    I have a problem while downloading files. when they are nearly finished (20-50kb left) the download stops. emule finds sources but its not downloading anymore. this is now since seven days. I cant find the problem!
    plz help!

    right click the file and click file details and see if 100% of it is even availible!

    Yes, computer is always on and connected. I heard from from a friend, that it might be possible, that some users have modified files shared, that cause this problem. can that be the problem?

    or does anyone know a program, which extracts the part files to an mpg? although there are 20kb left?

    what you could try is right click the download and preview the file, then coy the temporary preview file :) or look for a program called donkey doctor and open the .part file in it and it will check for completed chunks and may complete the file for you!

    Also your friend is wrong, if a file was altered, then its hash id would change and you wouldnt be transferring from it!

    WOW! thanks a lot! great program that donkeydoctor! all files had been complete, just some chunks were marked as incomplete wrongly.
