encoding problem using nero..please help

    trying to encode spiderman part3 using nero and it says:

    The following problems were found:
    -MPEG-2 instead of MPEG-1
    -Invalid video stream 25 frames/sec, 480x576
    pixels

    what can i do?

    maybe you could try using tmpgenc it can encode that video for you ....never use nero you dont get as good a product after you encode with tmpgenc then burn the cd using nero.....mpeg 2 is more likely a svcd format try burning it out as a svcd ......

    but will i be able to see it on my dvd player
    my dvd player supports dvd/vcd/mp3/cdplayer?

    You would need a DVD player that plays SVCDs. You could encode it into mpeg 1 and it would work on your DVD player.

    how can i encode it ? i tried nero and tried tpgenc and it saids file not supported.

    download and install divx codecs 3.11, 4.0 ,and 5.02 .....it should be supported after you download those codecs.......you might also try kazaa and download a zip file called all video codecs,the file should be about 3mbs. it doesnt include divx codec 5.02 .....so try that and let us know if it works......

    withthe codecs i will be able yo encode that file?

    lvelychic yes with those codecs it should work .......Apex is a great little cheap player you can through vcd ,svcd ,at it and it will playem like a champ , you can also e-mail me to get answers quicker ttiger@hotmail.com
