encoding with TMPGENC

    how do i make a project with dvd2avi for rencoding just my movie with tmpgenc ???

    i use pal standart

    - open DVD2AVI
    - open the first vob that corresponds to the film, and the others will be selected automatically.
    - Check on the line underneath that it is what you want, and that you have everything (in case you only need part of that, you can select a beginning and an end on that line).
    - then select "save project" (give it a name, and a place)
    - after a few minites, you will see : "finish"
    - in the directory where you put that, you'll find the AC3 sound files (which you will need when you put everything back together in Maestro ) , and a .d2v file.
    - in Tmpgenc, select this .d2v as "video file", check "video only" on the right,choose your settings (bitrate etc)
    - then go to work or to bed (it can take 12 hours in variable bitrate mode), but the result is worth it.
