I can either have video mode in 480i 0r 1080i in ydl, in 480i it looks like crap and doesent fit screen right, on the other hand in 1080i it looks good, but extremly small text/window that i can barly read it. Ive tried searching forums and tried the ps3videomode option but that only adjust my 480i - 1080i options, what i need is some command line to enlarge my 1080i setting to fill the screen better if possible. Any suggestions?

Still looking for help making my 1080i resolution somehow enlarge to fill up the screen kinda like 480i did, if this is possible. Ive searched for days and cant seem to find this topic anywhere. My windows and text are way to small, and almost seems pointless having ydl 5.0 on ps3 if i cant fix this.

you need to use PS3VIDEOMODE from the command line. You can set the resolution using this. You can google it for more info. There are two switches you need to use (-v -f) to set full screen and to tell it that you want to change video mode. I had to change the mode on mine before I booted FC5. If I changed it with the GUI already up, the screen would be scrambled. Could just be my TV though.
