My Xbox had a dead seagate hard drive (error code 7) so i got another broken xbox which had a western digital hard drive in it and switched it with my dead hard drive. Is there a way to resolve the error code 6. I don't have the eeprom or hdd key.

No, you'll need either an eeprom reader or a modchip!

What was wrong with the broken xbox? you could try to take apart the xbox with the dead HD and fix the other broken one that you got. Without the EEPROM, the HD will need to stay in the original xbox it came in to work. If the other broken one has a bad DVD or anything besides motherboard, you could switch that and fix it. I will clarify what I mean if needed.
