NERO is telling me that some files are missing.
    -VIDEO_TS.IFO
    -VIDEO_TS.BUP

But they are actually there ?
Any idea what I can do with this ?

    Thank you.

    hi there

i will have to guess somewhat as i have nothing of what you had and what you are trying to do or get to?

so ok, are you trying to copy a dvd original? are you useing all files in a folder called VIDEO_TS are you useing the button in nero ADD-Video? as it makes this folder for you!

what app was used to get the files in first place?

I used "Cucusoft AVI to VCD DVD" to convert a movie from .avi to .vob. After that, I used "IfoEdit" to generate Video_ts.bup, Video_ts.ifo, Vts_01_0.bup, Vts_01_0.ifo, Vts_01_3.vob, Vts_01_2.vob and Vts_01_1.vob. After that, I used "Nero Express 6" DVD-Video files option and added those file the VIDEO_TS folder to try burning the DVD but I get errors:

Required file 'VIDEO_TS.IFO' is not present
Required file 'VIDEO_TS.BUP' is not present
    DVD-Video files compliance test failed

Those files seems at the right place ? Any idea ?

Thank you again for this precious help !

    hi

so cucusoft only gave you vobs? ok,?

dont use that app anyway quailty sucks, it sucks!!!

    use DivxToDvd

it will do the same! but quicker! better quailty! smaller files! keep lip sync ok! you can add more than 1 avi at once say 2 to make i movie! it will output to vob/ifo/bup ready for burning...its just brilliant

and its FREE did i mention that? and also widely ised by people here! and i recommend it!

all you do then is like you said add the files to nero folder VIDEO_TS and burn~!

use it try it very simple app! its from VSO website

    I downloaded divxToDvd ! Looks great !!!
Cucusoft took 40 hours on my computer to convert... so far divxToDvd is telling me that estimated time is 4 hours !

    Thank you so much !

Hi there. (same sort of problem for me)

You guys seems to be on the top of the subject.
Question: I have a double layer dvd burner and I wish to make a compilation of several dvd's. When using Nero, i got an error message because the VIDEO_TS.BUP and IFO are already in since the 1st DVD folder and because they are named identically,it refuses me to add them again. I tried to add a number to the VIDEO_TS.BUP, like this : VIDEO_TS.0BUP but does not work...

Anybody got an idea how I could burn more than one dvd folder witout a problem? May be an alternative to NERO, which could keep the folder separated, or somethin'?

Thanks a lot if you can help.

    Cheers Kidnap
