error erasing matrix chip

    what does it mean when winLPC gives you the "error erasing chip" error?

    I am having that problem also but i have yet to install my chip. Have u installed yours took it out and now trying to erase? I thought i couldnt because i havent used it yet or something but i doubt that. Well, I hope someone can help us out. thx

    i got it fixed. i was doing 4 chips and had the same issue with all of them. i just had to keep trying to do it over and over until it took. i think i did each one 4-5 times and got the same "error erasing chip" error then it just worked and verified ok. just keep trying and maybe you'll have the same luck.
