I have been using DVD Shrink successfully for a couple of months but over the last couple of weeks I have been getting a bunch of coasters. I have changed my media from Memmorex to TDK still the same error message:

    Pioneer DVD-RW DVR -106D
    1.05 (J:)ATA
    SCSI Status 0X02
    Interpretation check condition
    Interpretation unable to recover TOC

I have a high powered machine with 512 ram and running windows XP Pro

Can anyone tell me if my DVD has gone bad or are some of my settings off. Thanks in advance.

Had another error message this time it read:

(fsctl_lock volume) failed: unable to lock volume for exclusive use.

I was able to make a good copy with a DVD+RW but not with the DVD+R

Have you got a program such as IN-CD or Roxio installed on your computer - they can be responsible for your error message - unable to lock volume for exclusive use.

Yes, I removed the In CD program but I still get the same
    error message on CDR's:
    Pioneer DVD-RW DVR -106D
    1.05 (J:)ATA
    SCSI Status 0X02
    Interpretation check condition
    Interpretation unable to recover TOC

When I use a DVD RW it copies OK - Anyone know why?
