    DVD Decryptor ran without error, and when you opened Shrink it gave error messages?
    Decrypter and especially Shrink are old programs and have problems by themselves with newer discs. Sometimes you need to clean the bad sectors and put the files in order so try VobBlanker. Check this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/334154
    You can skip to part 2 since you already have the files on your computer from DVDDecrypter (if you ran in file mode, if it was .iso you should either redo DVDdecrypter or follow all the step in the link).

    Just because Decrypter worked doesnt always mean Shrink will run flawlessly. It's rare but it happens. Try using VobBlanker, dont worry about any settings at all. Simply open the program, select your input file (the folder decrypter made with all your .vob's and .ifo's in it) then select a destination folder for the output. Thats it. No settings needed, just input and output. Try Shrink with the file VobBlanker makes you.

    Stiper2-
    I would have suggested using a different ripper to begin with. DVD Decrypter was and is a great program, but you have to make too many adjustments to get it to rip correctly. http://dvdfab.com/free.htm go to that site and download DVDFab HD Decrypter. It is updated regularly and will give you a nice rip of the files.

    Then if you are going to use VobBlanker I would suggest you read the guide on blanking out unwanted areas of the film along with warnings and FBI statements. Even removing previews helps in creating a higher quality backup of your original DVD.

    Then after VobBlanker processes you may use Shrink or Nero Recode to get the DVD-9 to fit to a DVD-5. You will find that by removing blank cells that occupy space, previews and other material from the original that you should be able to Shrink with around a 70% ratio.

    Now please realize that in following these instructions and everything I mentioned is a free program to use. There are better ways to do things, but they will cost money. I hope this information helps you out.

    Thanks for all the info....I think I am going to a different program from Slysoft. ITs costs but its well worth the money and less headaches.

    AnyDVD is a fantastic program to use. You can rip with it as well by right clicking the little fox head in the task bar. Of course if you are going to get the package with AnyDVD & CloneDVD2 then you don't have to worry about it.

    Personally I use DVD Rebuilder, DVD ReMake Pro, AnyDVD or DVDFab, and Nero to burn. But I use to use all of those programs that we are discussing so I'm very familiar with them. I still have them installed even though I don't use them!!

    @Stiper2

    The out of memory error should not be a problem when using the latest version of DVDFab HD decrypter, if you decide to try it, get it here http://club.cdfreaks.com/f116/dvdfab-4-0-2-0-beta-233944/

    My 2 cents.........
    Now if you're willing to do some spending, my two suggestions are AnyDVD and 1CLICK DVDCopy 5, the combination of the two is second to none (IMHO).

    The output produced by 1CLICK is excellent, plus it also has CPRx™ error correction, which allows you to backup new DVD movies that contain bad sectors or bad DVD structure.

    1CLICK DVD COPY 5
