I'm a first time user on VirtualDub and i followed a guide on the internet. And when i open the AVI file, it gives me this error, " Couldn't Located Depressor for format "XVID" (Unknown) VirtualDub Requires a Video for Windows (VFW) Compatible Codec To Decompress Video, Directshows Codec, Such as Those Used by Windows Media Player are Not Suitable. Can anyone tell me what the problem is?
The Problem is exactly what the error is... Virtual Dub says that you do not have the XviD Codec installed so it can not decode the File... So if that is the case then go and download and Install the XviD codec.... Cheers
