It might be worth your while to try better media than Princo - something like Verbatim or Ritek. Princos aren't the greatest and often give problems such as failed burns.

Yeah wasn't sure if it would be that. I usually use Ritek G04's but I brought 25 of these yellow tops cause they were cheap, now I know why.

I will have a go with one of the Ritek's and see how it goes.

One question without wanting to sound thick, what is ASPI and do I need to install anything ??

    Cheers

If you check in Nero Info Tool it should already have an ASPI installed (is the only one needed , as that's all I gots ;-)

P.S. I edited serial number for Nero out of your 1st post Steve...

Cheers Herbs. I have backed it up using a Ritek and it worked first time, just proved that the cheap discs I brought are crap.

Sorry about the Nero serial thing, didn't realise it was on there, thanks mate.

Google "Nero SCSI_HASTAT_REQUEST_SENSE_FAILED" (with or without the underscores) and you'll get a cubic buttload of info relating to ASPI. This ought to help.
