Hey guys, I'm getting the following error when trying to load my psuedo-avi file in VirtualDub: "Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'vifp' (unknown)". I take it that a this point I should have the appropriate filter plugin in ..\VirtualDub\plugins, so maybe I missed something in the guide. I got the idea from another thread that I should run the vifpset.bat script, but this locks my PC. I'm running Win98. Please help.
http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/dvd2divx_anamorphic.cfm described in this guide is what codecs are needed at the top. Please load those. Do not under any circumstances close DVD2AVI while you are using it as a frameserver, you will get all kinds of errors.
