I can't seem to burn my DVDs with Nero, Alcohol, or CloneDVD. Clone DVD just freezes, Nero gives me an error message of "reset occurred, burn failed"

Does anyone have the slightest idea what I'm doing wrong here?

    I'm using a MadDog Megastor 16x.

Here's the log from the nero attempt

and no, i cannot burn data dvds, i just tried and I get the same error message. I just doesn't make any sense why it wouldn't even start the burning process at all.

This is strange indeed, but not unusuall. Lets try this, uninstall all your drives

    [bold]Uninstalling Your Drive(s)[/bold]

    (1) Go to “Control Panel”
    (2) Double click on “System”
    (3) Click on “Hardware” tab
    (4) Click on “Device Manager”
    (5) Click on the “+” beside DVD/CD ROM Drives
    (6) Right click on your first drive
    (7) Then Click on “Uninstall”
    (8) Repeat steps 6 & 7 for each drive
    (9) Then click on the little “+” beside IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers
    (10) Uninstall all of your IDE controllers in the same manner as described in 6 & 7 above
    (11) Exit out of Device manager and restart your system
    (12) Let Windows install your drives automatically

See if this work's and let me know :)
