esata vs sata

    whats the difference between esata and sata
    please help any help will be apprecited

    Esata is = external serial ata adapter

    sata is = an internal sata adapter

    thank u man

    external means does this have external plug like usb and firewire
    if so its only comptable with desktps and lappys with esata ports!!!
    or esata nothing but external hub with adapter converted from sata to (pata)/usb/firewire
