to scouser mainly, you seem to know alot about this! i have got cabe TV downstairs, with a eurovox set top (well till my step dad messed it up so now has to retune it all etc!) and upstairs i have broadband. now both come from same company and i already tried an old cable box on the broadband, which worked, but was wandering if the eurovox will work aswell and if it can be traced that im using a set top box rather than my broadband? would a splitter confuse them? lol! cheers any help appreciated really!
Yes it will work as long as you have a live cable connection. The Eurovox has no talkback function for obvious reasons and so no it cant be traced as such. And a splitter will be fine as long as it is a good quality one.
