everything oversized,need help

    small problem thats bugging me with laptop.
    basically everything from icons to the gadgets even to the search engines seems bigger or kinda stretched,every search engine/page is to big for the screen,if you understand me.

    plus the screen flickers for maybe 10 seconds when i first switch it on.
    the start up is fine,no flickering,its only when laptop gets to desk top that it starts flickering,dont know whether one thing has to do with the other.
    any help appreciated as usual.

    i would go to control panel then look at your display options. Mess with those a bit. Other than that i have no idea why the screen would be bigger or flickering.

    Its definately a display issue. Like steimy said, check your display settings. Also, make sure you are using the most current drivers for your video card.
