I am getting an I/O error as follows:

    ScsiStatus: 0x02
    Interpretation: Check Condition

    CDB: 2A 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 20 00
    Interpretation: Write(10)-Sectors: 768-799

    Sense area: F1 00 04 00 00 00 00 0A 00 32 00 16 03 02 00 00 00 00
    Interpretation: Excessive Write Errors

I am using media that has always worked before, burning at the slowest possible speed. However last week I got a power calibration I/O error. This leads me to believe that my burner is dying. If you could help me understand this latest I/O error:Excessive write errors it would help alot. thanks

It means what it means. You may want to check the integrity of your set up with something like Nero Info Tools. Sometimes it can just be the laser head getting dirty.
