I have an External Hard Drive (250GB) from America. The problem I am having is that I cannot access the My Videos folder (I could a few days ago). I keep getting the following message :
    k:\My Videos is not accessible

The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error

try it on a different usb port if that is what it is using & see what happens. ran into somewhat same problem, wouldn't work on front usb but does on back usb

    Hey!

What make and what is the age of the drive?
    Try renaming the folder.
