I got a 80gb External HDD about 6 months ago and it worked fine, but I put it in my PS2 to play games from, my ps2 broke and so I put the hdd back into its case and plugged it into my new laptop. The pc reconises it but I can't access it to format it or anything. it knows its connected but won't do anything else.

    Any help

now you have to get it unlocked. check in the ps2 forums below in how to do that & what to use.
