Is it possible to extract the sound files from a dvd and copy onto pc harddrive. Is there a software program able to do this. I would like to do this so I can use the sound files in desktop themes and screen savers. I hope someone can help me. Thank you.

The way i know of is to extract the .vob files from the dvd with programs like smartripper or dvd decrypter and running the files into dvd2avi to create the .d2v file. Make sure to enable audio and when dvd2avi is done youll have the whole sountrack of the movie in wav format.
