    You're using good media and looks like the firmware on the Samsung is up to date.
    But your overburning those 16x TY's to 18x.
    Take it down to 8x.

    i agree, even though u are using great media, 16x is waaaaay to fast for any media.

    Man this is weird, i cant seem to burn anything anymore, and it seems tot ake forever to read dvds now.

    Whats wrong?

    How long is long?

    Logs shows all drives in DMA but migth want to check just in case slipped in to pio mode.
    Read errors on disc is one thing that can cause this.

    Looks like you're trying to burn on the fly @18X on 16X media. Not a good idea. Cut your burn speed down to 8X and burn from the files on your HDD not the disc itself.
