I have the DVD version of Far Cry, and am trying with no success to backup the image with nero. When I use nero to rip the image, it is successful, but when trying to emulate using daemon, i get an error at the first splash screen saying 'please insert correct dvd-rom". i have had this error before, and thought it was due to the emulation program, so i exited out of daemon while keeping the virtual drive enabled and tried again to no avail. the ripped image is in .nrg format, if anyone has any suggestions on another program to use to rip or to emulate, please let me know, thanks in advance!

    Wrong forum. Thread moved :)

Nero isn't able to rip an proper image of a protected PC game. To do this you'll need something like Alcohol 120%, BlindWrite or CloneCD :)
