I have windows 98 and want to burn my dvd and dvd9 games. Is there an option in popular dvd burning programs, nero decypter etc to split up the iso before it burns? Or are the only options avaliable to burn to iso and then to disk. How does the nero dvd copy function(not on the fly), for example, handle this? Does it have to copy the full iso to your hard drive first? Does it split it up? Or in some other way put it on your hard drive in less then 4gb pieces and then to the dvd disk?

I need to know if I should format to XP or not.

    Thanks.

dvd decrypter will automatically split the image. you then burn the .mds file with it.
