Anyone succesfully got FNR2 onto their HDD,
I have tried copying str8 from disc and also via fap link which always freezes at 1741696kb remaining
I thought maybe it was a bad burn which gave me sector read errors when dumping from disc.. but since the iso to ps2 hdd via faplink is freezing im not so sure. If any1 has a solution i would be very gratefull

    Cheers

Yeah, I got it to work on the first try. I would recommend cleaning the disk and/or using your PC to transfer the games. That is a sweet game ... and Ali ain't no joke!

I would advise not using FAPlink.

I've used it several times, and for some reason it locks up on me after 30 minutes or so. It works fine for CD based PS2 games, cause they don't take long. But the DVD games ALWAYS lockup around the same time.

Use "HDL Dumb", pretty much the same(install a prog on PC and PS2). Also, I've copied games that took over an hour and a half with HDLD and no lockups, flawless!

I used my PC to transfer 'Fight Night.' I used PS2 Handiness. I ripped the game in less than 10 minutes!

Isn't PS2 Handiness the one that needs your PS2 hard drive connected to your computer?

Yeah. You can use that or WinHIIP, though I have had more success with PS2Handiness.

tony1208, are you are looking to go to jail ? That is illegal - YOU ARE PARTAKING IN PIRACY ... unless you have the game, dude. And from the sounds of it, you don't own it. I would keep comments like that to myself if I were you.

I would recommend googling it. I can't remember where I got my copy from, nooooooodles.

And that was my Lex until I got my Suburban, tony1208. Don't hate on my whip, dog. Seriously, piracy will land your butt in jail. Don't do it ...
