I'm trying to burn programs, songs, and other documents (essentially a data disc) but I'm having a problem burning it. I'm using Nero to make the data disc. The problem is that after it burns the DVD, all the files are corrupted (they all have a different checksum compared to the original files). Also, are there other programs to burn DVD data discs rather than movies. All the programs that came with the DVD are to make videos. I don't want it for videos.

The drive I'm using is a 12X Optorite DVD+RW, and the DVDs are 8X.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

What brand/type media are you using?

What firmware version does your drive have installed?
