You would need a TV tuner card or a TV tuner USB box like the ADStech DVD Xpress http://www.adstech.com/products/USBAV-709-EF/intro/USBAV-709_intro.asp?pid=USBAV-709-EF I use the DVD Xpress and I am very pleased with it.

I own a TV tuner (not by that brand) and I like it a lot. It is a PCI card inside my computer that I sometimes use to play PS2 on my computer or to watch TV on it. The one I have is by WinTV which is supposed to be a good brand. Only some cards work with Windows Media Center in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. Others need their own software which should come with it.
