    I'm playing disc 1 of ffviii on a 3.02 OE-B.
It is having major freezing/hanging/crashing problems very frequently during battles.
I've tried using CWCheat to overclock it to 333, ive tried running it at 111cpu 133 bus, but nothing seems to be able to fix the freezing problems. Did anyone happen to find a solution?

Is it the PAL version? I heard PAL games have problems on any other firmware than 3.10x.

Other than that, i have no idea. POPS cant really be configured.

lol. LOL! i just never thought someone would ask. anyways

ok if ur in US and Japan you are NTSC, and if ur in Asia and Europe you're generally PAL. i guess in laymans terms the difference is generally resolution and frame rate. but if u try running for instance a PAL PS2 game on a NTSC PS2, the video will be gray and flickery and ugh.
