i've got a perfect backup of FFX2, i don't use a toc. having you tried just loading it without a toc? also is ffx the largest game you have?

if i just load the game it freezes after you start the game... i've tried tony hawk underground which is bigger than ffx but keep getting "error validating disc" error

honestly i have no idea why this game isn't working. the only thing i could think you could try is burn it agian using a different brand, use DVD decrypter to get the ISO and to burn @ X'1 also use DVD-R. what version PS2 do you have
