I've obtained the French version courtesy of my uncle

    Game: Final Fantasy XII

Saves are NOT compatible among the PAL versions, however save conversion between all versions of FFXII works fine.

Hope someone makes use of the information :D

Sorry for the long delay in my reply. I was just doing some research on this problem. I believe that your patching the game for the use of 60hz because your TV cannot support 50hz right?
Well, from my understanding, the game will just crash after the intro due to some over-zealous in frames. Your only choice at this point I pressume, is to find a way to play it in 50hz only.
